Lynne Johns is a Wollongong based Artist. Her practice includes painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, alternate photography and weaving.

She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Distinction) and Dip Ed gained at the University of Wollongong and is represented in the University of Wollongong Art Collection and in private collections. Lynne has been a Creative Arts Educator and is a registered Marriage & Funeral Celebrant.

Her work is Expressionistic leaning toward Abstraction. The Environment features predominantly in her work. Lynne has been a finalist in the Meroogal Women’s Art Prize; Jervis Bay Sea-change Prize; Bryan & Robyn Carr Arts Prize; 3 times finalist in the 9x5 Waverley Landscape Prize.

Lynne gained second place in the 9x5 Waverley Landscape Prize in 2022 and second place in the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival 2022.

Since 1984 Lynne has exhibited in the Illawarra, South Coast, Canberra and Sydney.
